Kerlie Mobile Press Repairs is a registered business of Wool Press Repairs. The Burnett family have been involved in the farming industry for many years dating back to the late 1890’s when ancestors took up land in Dandaragan. The current generation farmed at Tarwonga, just south of Williams until the mid 1990’s.

CHARLIE BURNETT spent three and half years with TPW as the Sales and Service Manager. During this time extensive periods of travelling throughout Australia was required, promoting Sales and Service of the entire TPW range of products. Charlie carried out sourcing and training service agents in Australia and New Zealand to provide the required high level of service of the TPW range of products. Promoting the sales of TPW products led to overseas trips to New Zealand, Uruguay, Argentina and China. Kerrin Burnett also spent some time with TPW as part of the manufacturing team.
The opportunity to establish a Service Repair business of wool presses in Western Australia arose in 2001 after Heiniger Australia purchased TPW as an operational company. Sanctioned by Heiniger Australia, KERLIE MOBILE PRESS REPAIRS was established in March 2001 by Charlie and Kerrin Burnett. Being former employees of TPW and with background knowledge of the manufacture, assembly, sales, operation and service of all the TPW presses, from the very early Slimline self-pinner with water scales to the current Aussie Xpress. This provided KERLIE MOBILE PRESS REPAIRS with the required experience to perform all Service and Repair work to a very high standard.
In 2023, the esteemed heritage of Kerlie Mobile Press Repairs takes a new turn as the reins have been passed onto Robin Oudman. With the same blood running in his veins and a deep understanding of the land, Robin is more than equipped to champion the Kerlie legacy and commitment long into the future. Under Robin’s stewardship, the business continues to thrive, ensuring that the Western Australian farming community receives the same level of dedication and expertise that has defined Kerlie Mobile Press Repairs for generations.
